![]() I play WE only in MP, and Norsca addition to the game proved a pretty hard challenge for me, as their army roster is pretty diverse and at the same time heavily focused on the all out frontline assault. I think their only bad matchup is Wood Elves I know a lot of other factions struggle with Norsca too in MP, but just wanted to share a bit of Empire main perspective. Even ye old Empire flying death squad is doomed as soon as you land anywhere near Wulfrik or fast movers.Īpologies for the rant, but I feel CA have really dropped the ball in their MP balancing with this one. Heros or Lords? Wulfrik and Werekins can beat anything Empire can field. TOTAL WAR WARHAMMER NORSCA OP SKINLuminark? Yeah we know how cost efficient it is to spend 2000+ gold to take out maybe half of a 1050 gold armoured skin wolves unit. Steam tank? Melts to werekin and skin wolves All the while you're not using your cav on the front line as your too busy desperately trying to defend your back line, so your front line is fucked. All while you spent thousands of gold more on this then the Norsca player. If the Norsca player brings the Skin wolves RoR, a werekin + an armored skin wolves and some frost wolves, you're pretty much fucked. Oh and cav? You'll need to bring at least 3 Knights of the blazing sun and support them with your lord and spells to stand any sort of chance against the Norsca death squad that is coming your way down the flanks. If they know what they're doing they will bring at least 4 to 5 fast movers who will get into your ranged and there's little you can do to stop them. You'll need to defend them with cav because no infantry can stop the insane speeds of Norsca. Good luck defending them against flanking skin wolves, hounds, frost wolves. Anything tier 2 or 3 will completely destroy anything Empire can field with ease.īring ranged? Ah yes the so called Norsca weakness. As an empire player I'm used to handling stronger infantry factions, but holy hell Norsca infantry is something else. Infantry? All empire infantry melts to Norsca Infantry it's ridiculous. ![]() ![]() I'm also top 200 on the leaderboard playing only as empire, but unfortunately bringing empire against a Norsca player that knows what he's doing is a total joke. I've playing a lot of MP since Norsca launch and have been doing plenty of test. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Great touch - I love the mystery of wtf is going on. Infinifactory fire control system plus#I've found two failure logs thus far - plus those poor bastards that went out the wrong door at the beginning. Didn't know about the platform not counting - that's good to know. Yes, I was using the input rate adjuster for that one. I used more than that, but it was fun setting up the perfect timing of the block drops to fuse and move. ^and sorry if those are obvious, but they weren't for me from the beginning. Between waves route the missiles to the sector where the enemy will spawn. Try to not waste ammunition while enemies are present. _There are 'failure logs' on some levels that add to the story. Start 4 (-5) missiles per opponent and then switch target. _The grey block that does nothing (Platform) doesn't count towards your block store. _You can speed up/slow down the input rate. I did most of my optimising in block count, though I went for time and footprint if in levels I liked too.Īlso some things you might not realize from the game: ZFR: Did you manage to finish that level (Training Routine 4) with 4 blocks only? (The Fire Control System (the defense one) done without any switches. And some of my solutions were works of art, ending up nicely on the extreme left of the histogram.Īnd some extremely ingenious solutions there on youtube. If you have the faintest interest in puzzle games, you MUST purchase this masterpiece on Steam and play. I could probably optimise in many places, but it's just tiring. I nominate Infinifactory by Zachtronics Industries. Nothing clever.įinished worse than average on all three histograms. Fire Emblem Fates is the first Nintendo game to allow same-sex marriage. Its "difficulty" was in putting the inputs in jumbled-up places so it was basically all about having them move forwards, backwards, up and down avoiding the other ones, just so the right ones are next to each other and then combining them. Shovel Knight is getting a retail release Infinifactory has evolved out of. I have to admit it does bring satisfaction watching all the little pieces falling together in place to make that huge target, but overall I didn't find the last level good. Grilledfish: Haha, I actually keep the game installed even though I finished it ages ago because I like to load it up occasionally just to watch my solution to the last puzzle. ![]() ![]() ![]() While this may not sound like much to an average user, being open-source makes it much easier for people to create third-party add-ons to a program that can add new features.
